Cloud logo designs have traditionally beed used in branding to represent a number of positive attributes and characteristics. It is used to represent trust, a higher or superior standard, performance or quality. This symbolism goes way back in history. Clouds can also at the same time be used to represent softness and comfort, with its fluffy and cotton-like appearance. It can also be used to represent a dream, creativity or imagination and a lot more. In the recent years clouds have been one of the most used symbols in the IT industry used to brand cloud infrastructure and application services. The cloud is synonym for the disruptive change in the industry where applications move online and into the “cloud†and served as subscriptions based software as a service offerings.
